PC or Mac Setup:
Buying a new computer and getting it home is always a great feeling, but setting up your new computer just how you like it can be a bit confusing. Why spend time reading through setup manuals and plugging in masses of cables? Let us deal with the stress and get you set up and running quickly and easily with our PC or Mac Setup service.
What this involves:
- At-home consultation with us in order to clarify how and where you want your computer set up.
- Unpack and check your computer and peripherals.
- Plug everything in.
- Setup your operating system, user accounts and passwords.
- Install any hardware or software purchased with your computer.
- Connect your computer to your existing network and set up your internet account.
- Install any windows updates.
Wireless network setup:
Having a wireless network in your home gives you the freedom and flexibility to do some pretty cool stuff with technology. You can browse the net around your home, stream you music, movies and photos, share printers and more.
The Wireless Network Set Up service takes the hassle and confusion out of getting your network up and running. Once you've bought your wireless router and broadband Internet connection we'll come to your home and get you up and running in no time.
What this involves:
- At-home consultation to understand your requirements.
- Set up your wireless router and connect up to 2 PCs to your new network. (If you need more than 2 PCs setting up we can add this in to the installation for a small additional fee.)
- Configure your router so that your network is safe and secure.
- Set up your printer, file sharing and Internet connection on all networked PCs.
- Fully test your network and show you how it works. We'll remind you of any passwords set up.
- Give you a full service report and answer any questions you may have.
